BoargNext
Generate custom MTG booster drafts for Tabletop Simulator without manually assembling the cards.
The project
BoargNext was built to make custom Magic: The Gathering drafts in Tabletop Simulator much less tedious.
Instead of manually finding, sorting and building large numbers of individual cards, the app generates booster packs from user-defined configurations and prepares them for use in a TTS game. The goal is to make it easy to create a more curated drafting experience while still retaining the randomness and discovery that make opening boosters interesting.
The project has had a particular focus on Tarkir: Dragonstorm, but the underlying idea is broader: turn a large card pool and a set of draft rules into something that can be configured and played with far less manual preparation.

Engineering focus
A tooling project driven by a very specific problem: automating the repetitive work between deciding to run a custom draft and actually being able to play it.
